While there may be in fact real towns in real places called Circlesville, this world wide website you've found yourself at is in the truest sense of the web a portal to the world of stock car racing... Circlesville.com covers dirt, while the to be developed Circlestown.com will cover asphalt in the future.
It's the beginnings of all the aspects of short track racing combined in to a beginning spot to journey in real life to a race track or a cyber journey to more information about local racing events and happenings.
Circlesville.com is the continuing evolution of the website RaceVibe.com created and edited by Richard Cunningham of Straight Circles Communications. To further brand the name Circles and the mental image of round track racing, Circlesville.com replaced RaceVibe.com as the 2007 racing season began. RaceVibe.com started in 1999 as a website to showcase the weekend's latest racing photos and spotlight winners from across dirt tracks everywhere.
Circlesville.com continues that focus on putting immediate faces to victory lanes from the weekend of action across the country as well as from a journalistic viewpoint, a few racing shots that sum up or put a million words in one snap of what transpired as the major storyline from the race.
Beyond that Circlesville.com serves as a motorsports entertainment spot with features such as "Eats", "Local Tourist", "The Lugs" and more developing aspects to the growing website.
"Eats" gives readers suggestions for local flavor food beyond the chain restaurants or those with high dollar advertising budgets... the mom and pop dinners... likewise... "Local Tourist" picks out the quirky, different places near favorite racing venues that racing fans can stop at or visit to the races. It's Circlesville.com own Road Trip suggestions for racing fans from racing fans suggestions.
"The Lugs" are caricatures of a combination of people. Structured like newspapers "Voices of the People", these locals of Circlesville are anything but real. While at times hidden in their words may be voices of wisdom, they are for all practical purposes a snapshot of racing's lighthearted side and merely an aspect of the entertainment side of Circlesville.com

We hold no secrets
at Circlesville. Our town, our community has our favorite racers... the
Racers of Circlesville. They are the ones we root for and cheer for as a
Circlesville community. They became the racers of Circlesville because
of one simple fact... they have websites built or maintained by
Straight Circles Communications.
Now we do adopt racers to the community... want to be an adopted racer? Put Circlesville.com on your race car, send us a photo of your race car and keep us informed of how you are doing. It needs to be big enough to see, writing it with a Sharpie won't suffice. Spoilers, under side window openings, across the front hood, an STP-sized decal on the door, something of that fashion and we'll adopt you in to the Circlesville.com racers. You won't get the same spotlighted listing as our website contracted racers, but we'll include you as space allows. While we can't spotlight every division winners, we predominately focus attention on a track's main divisions (be it Late Models or Open Wheel Modifieds), but Circlesville.com racers get the same attention for feature wins as whoever wins the weekend's latest World of Outlaw, Lucas Oil Series , BoB Modified Series events, etc.. It's a benefit of a Straight Circles Communications website client. |

Communications (itself listed as a store), they specialize in providing
some aspect to the racing community.
In the next few month's a T-Shirt shop and Car Lot aspect are expected to develop. Drivers that sell their own T-shirts out of their car haulers will have a place to showcase their shirt and contact information to order one direct from the driver or team. Likewise the Car Lot will be a section to Circlesville.com much like classified advertising to sell race cars, engines and transporters. Both are in development and should be added features to Circlesville.com soon. |

| News | Press Releases from series, race teams, sponsors, etc. that play a relevant role to the weekly news finds its way to the newswire. We hold a pretty strict rule to the news aspect of it, so if it's just simply how Billy Bob ran this past weekend and he's a regular of the ABC Series and announcing he'll be at the next event, or to tell that the World 100 is the second weekend of Septmeber... it won't make the wire. But if in our judgment it has news content and is something not common knowledge, it will find it's way to the wire. We welcome all submissions (richard at circlesville.com ) for consideration. |
